STRONGAT ANY AGE

A life of strength. A life well lived.

Chris Jones is 83 — and still training. His story is not about turning back the clock. It is about making the most of the years ahead, staying active, continuing to learn and finding strength in every stage of life.

“Strength isn't about turning back the clock. It's about making the most of the years ahead.”

My Story

A lifetime of strength. A life well lived.

The 500 kg leg press at 73 got people's attention. But what matters more is that I'm now 83 — and I'm still training.

This is my story — from university weightlifting to today, shared with my wonderful wife by my side.

60+ Strength

Strength has no expiry date

Getting older does not mean you have to stop moving forward. Strength training can be about maintaining independence, confidence, movement and the ability to keep doing the things you enjoy.

Start where you are. Progress at your own pace. Stay consistent.

01

Strength Is Essential

Strength can help us remain independent, capable and confident as we get older.

02

Start Where You Are

It's never too late to begin. Progress at your own pace.

03

Consistency Matters

Small steps, repeated over time, can create meaningful results.

04

Keep Learning

The body adapts. The mind does too. Keep learning and keep moving forward.

The 500 kg Lift

The lift that got people's attention

At 73, Chris pressed more than 500 kg on the leg press. The number travelled further than he ever expected. The story that matters is what came after it.

Margaret

My wonderful wife

“She's been with me through every chapter of this journey — and she trains too. We encourage each other, challenge each other and share a love for keeping strong and staying active together.”

Diamond Wedding Anniversary

60 years of marriage. A lifetime of memories. And many more adventures ahead.

About / Philosophy

My Message To You

You don't have to lift 500 kg. You don't have to compete. You don't even have to be fit when you start.

The only thing that matters is this: don't accept that becoming weaker is just part of getting older.

Start. Learn. Build. Keep going. See what you are capable of.

Your Stories

Your story matters

Chris's story is just one story. We want to hear from people who have started training later in life, returned to exercise, changed their mindset or simply decided to keep moving forward.
